What OneWebDesk is

OneWebDesk (onewebdesk.com) is a collection of free web diagnostic and operations tools covering IP, DNS, SSL/TLS, email authentication, web security, SEO and performance — all in one place. No sign-up, no payment, no install; everything runs in your browser. It is built for the everyday problems webmasters, developers and operators actually run into.

Every tool page ships with more than an input box: result interpretation, root causes, fixes and an FAQ. The goal is not a tool that merely shows a value, but one that tells you what the value means and what to do about it.

How the tools work (methodology)

Tools fall into two kinds by how they process data:

• Browser-only tools (calculators, converters, header builders): your input is computed entirely in your browser. Nothing is sent to or stored on a server.
• Live lookup tools (DNS, SSL, HTTP checks): these fetch public data about the target. DNS is queried over DNS over HTTPS (Cloudflare and Google public resolvers); registration data comes from official sources like RDAP (rdap.org) and RIPEstat.

Data sources

• DNS records: Cloudflare (1.1.1.1) and Google (8.8.8.8) DNS over HTTPS
• Domain/IP registration: RDAP (rdap.org), RIPEstat, and public Regional Internet Registry data
• SSL/TLS: a real TLS handshake with the target server to read its certificate and protocols
• IP geolocation: a public IP geolocation API (an approximation, not an exact address)

Accuracy and limits

Results are for reference. DNS can look different by location and resolver due to propagation and caching; IP geolocation is an estimate; live checks are affected by network path, firewalls and CDNs. For critical decisions, cross-check with authoritative tools (e.g. direct server inspection). Tool results are labeled OK / Warning / Critical to aid interpretation.

Privacy

Input to browser-only tools never leaves your device. Live lookup tools process only the target you enter (domain/IP), do not permanently store lookup history, and apply only minimal rate limiting and short-lived caching to prevent abuse. The site may use standard cookies for traffic analytics and advertising (Google AdSense).
